ADRIAN — A Michigan Court of Appeals panel recently upheld a Lenawee County Circuit Court ruling that said defendants can reject probation and opt to serve a full jail sentence instead.The 2-1 decision upheld an order for resentencing by Circuit Judge Margaret M.S. Noe and the 1975 Court of Appeals decision in People vs. Peterson upon which Noe based her decision.
