ADRIAN — A January trial in a case involving dozens of seized animals has been delayed.The trial of a Rome Township woman accused of mistreating dogs, horses and other animals in her care at her Shepherd Road farm was scheduled to begin Jan. 15. Now, a pretrial in Sharon Kay Evans’ case is scheduled for Jan. 16 in Lenawee County Circuit Court.Evans, 54, is charged with one felony count of abandoning or cruelty to 10 or more animals.
