An Adrian man convicted of assaulting his wife in 2015 lost an appeal of his conviction and sentence.A three-judge panel of the Michigan Court of Appeals last week affirmed the conviction and sentence of Robert Joseph Mattson, 42. A jury convicted him Nov. 6, 2015, of assault by strangulation and Lenawee County Circuit Judge Margaret M.S.
