The jury of four women and two men found that James Welzbacher, 72, threatened Stanley Sala of Brooklyn with a large, ball-peen hammer during an altercation late on July 4, 2014, at Sala’s daughter’s home on Devils Lake. The jurors deliberated for about a half-hour after about six hours of testimony, motions and arguments.
