Felipe Anzaualda Perez, 29, was handed down 80-month-to-10-year prison terms for three counts of assault with intent to do great bodily harm that he pleaded guilty to on Aug. 4 last year. A court of appeals panel ruled earlier this month the application by Perez lacked merit.
