A Clayton woman went from a Disney World vacation to the Lenawee County Jail. Brenda Lee Nicholas, 46, was arraigned by video Friday for allegedly embezzling $136,080 from her employer. Now she faces a preliminary hearing June 8 in Lenawee County District Court on a charge of embezzlement $100,000 or more. That charge carries a maximum 20-year prison term.
