Homeowners Eric and Stephanie Powell filed a lawsuit in January against Lenawee County and contractor Brady Sand and Gravel Inc. to claim the contractor was negligent in allowing plastic sheeting to block a storm drain during a heavy rainfall on June 27 last year.
