Jacob Christopher Edmond pleaded not guilty to a heroin delivery charge Wednesday and withdrew a motion to disqualify a judge in a felony assault case in Lenawee County Circuit Court. The 29-year-old Adrian man is accused of selling heroin in Adrian on Dec. 17 and with the Jan. 25 beating of a man he suspected of helping police in the drug case.Edmond remains free on bond pending a May 11 hearing on the heroin delivery charge.
